As there are no market standards or white papers as of yet, we have no standard of-the-shelf solutions available. By considering the individual system layout of every customer we are able to design the most suitable connector solution and select the most appropriate termination technique from those available – from both a technical and commercial viewpoint. The current preferred termination technologies are crimping, soldering and bush-button, whereas the connector housing is usually customized. Also IDC or screw mounting is possible. One important aspect when it comes to the overall system layout, is the amount of insertion cycles. Even the majority of existing Smart Textile applications in the field today, do not requiere more than 1.000 insertion cycles we are even able to support systems over 100.000 mating cycles!
