SIMLOCK®
The SIMLOCK® was designed from Amphenol for SIM/SAM card applications.
Design features
- Dimensions only slightly bigger than SIM card
- The closed system with integrated card guidance assures a reliable contacting of the SIM card in spite of the critical card tolerances as per GSM 11.11
- Polaristation notch does not allow incorrect card positioning
- Suitable for automatic assembly processes (Pick&Place area, Tape&Reel packaging and SMT solderable)
- SIMLOCK® with locking detector or card presence switch available
- Other options: wide solder tails for upside-down soldering during second reflow process, positioning studs
